3 Proven Strategies for Following Up

If you've been in business very long, you've probably heard the powerful, marketing formula:

The Right Message... To The Right Market... At The Right Time!

Most businesses miss one, two or all three of these factors, and end up with very ineffective marketing and advertising. As a result, these businesses end up losing millions in missed sales every year.

To make the most of YOUR marketing dollars, here are 3 easy strategies for improving your marketing efforts and closing more sales:

Follow up consistently with all of your prospects and customers. It's impossible to predict when a prospect is ready to buy or when a customer will buy from you again. Random marketing messages will be hit or miss. Consistent follow up is the only way to guarantee you're standing in front of your contact the moment they're ready to make a purchase.

Test simple, inexpensive direct response marketing methods. Offer FREE reports, samples, coupons, or other response devices filled with emotionally compelling copy to find the messages that match the interests of YOUR target markets.

Use multi-step, multi-media (direct mail/phone/fax/email/voice broadcasting) follow-up to maximize sales. You can no longer rely on a single form of media to reach your prospects. They're busy and may ignore one (or more) forms of communication. The more varied your approach, the more likely you are to stay in front of your contacts.

When you follow up consistently, offer valuable content, and use multi-media in your market, you will find yourself closing more sales and doubling (or more) your sales.
